We will perform a complete refurbishment and reconditioning of this special autoclave before it is shipped to you. Almost every moving part on it is going to be replaced. The unit looks and operates just like a brand new one.

This 3870E is designed for use in biotech laboratories, medical clinics, industrial labs, dental practices, veterinary facilities, and tattoo establishments, such as tattoo parlors and tattoo shops. The stainless steel construction is ideal for sterilizing liquids, media, instruments, glassware, soil, or wastewater utilities, and more.

There is a digital display on the sterilizer that continuously shows the temperature, pressure, and operational time. Each stage of the cycle is automatic and micro-processor controlled from water-fill, to sterilization, and exhaust. Simply open the door to commence the drying cycle. The autoclave has a low water alarm to notify the end user when the reservoir needs to be refilled with water, an in-line particle filter protects the valves, and the standby heating is to keep the chamber warmed up in between cycles. The pressure and temperature gauge are combined plus automatic low water shut off will prevent damage to the heating elements if there is insufficient water to complete the sterilization cycle. The heat-insulated, double-locking door provides protection to the end-user from accidental burns and stops the chamber from being opened during the sterilization procedure. The autoclave has a slow or quick exhaust option, with the fast exhaust being used to dry solids and the slow exhaust for preventing media and liquid blow-over. The continuous pressure purge ensures even sterilization, and a large capacity reservoir provides plenty of water to avoid frequent refills (the drain is located on top to simplify cleaning). It also has an automatic shut-off to save energy, and a battery backup ensures that settings and controls are retained during a power outage.

We have given this Tuttnauer 3870E autoclave a careful refurbishment process. The steps include:

• We perform a thorough inspection of all components, cosmetics, and functionality of the vehicle.
• Replace all worn or bad parts.
• If the frame and chassis need to be sanded or painted, we do so.
• Clean the reservoir tank by removing debris and particulates.
• Clean and polish the chamber and reservoir. Make sure that all lines have been blown out.
• The safety mechanisms, controls, relays, condensers, thermostats, valves, switches, filters, and all the other parts as required will need to be replaced.
• All moving parts are cleaned and lubricated.
• Make sure that all pressure and water leaks are repaired.
• Check and lubricate the door closure.
• Regardless of the condition of the door gasket, we replace it.
• Test and calibrate the instrument in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• The test cycle is repeated to ensure the quality of the final product.
• Testing of the spores in various positions within the chamber.
