Amerex Top-Loading Autoclave with Fully Automatic Drying Cycle using Heat & Vacuum
Manufacture Part No. HVP-50
Features
- Space-saving design with lid opening upward
- Fully automatic dying cycle for solid loads uses heat and vacuum for faster and more efficient drying
- Lid safety interlock prevents lid opening when a cycle is in progress, the chamber is pressurized, or when the temperature exceeds 97°C
- Pre-vacuum cycle - vacuum pump removes air from the chamber when sterilizing solids such as glassware and pipette tips, thereby eliminating cold spots, and ensuring faster and more efficient sterilization
- One-touch lever to easily open and close chamber lid
- Liquid cycle for media and agar
- Process display shows the program progress selected and status of the sterilization cycle
- Cycle for wastes and glassware without drying
- Bacteria filter reduces re-contamination
- Door-closure sensor prevents a cycle from starting unless the door is closed properly
- 1 Year Warranty

Programs
1. For Solids with Drying
Heating and air removal from chamber by vacuum pump (pre-vac) -> Sterilization -> Water and steam exhaust (fast) -> Drying by heat and vacuum -> Completion
2. For Wastes / Solids without Drying
Heating -> Pre-vac -> Sterilization -> Steam exhaust (fast) -> Completion
3. For Liquids / Agar
Heating -> Sterilization -> Auto steam exhaust (programmable rates, or ambient cooling w/o steam exhaust) -> Completion
4. Drying without Sterilization
Drying with heat and vacuum (time programmable) -> Completion (for additional drying after Program #1, if desired)
Safety Devices: Temperature and pressure-sensitive lid interlock, over-pressure power cutoff, over-temperature power cutoff, low-water power cutoff. mechanical pressure relief valve, lid-closure detector, over-current detector and circuit breaker with ground fault circuit interrupter
