The UNICO PowerSpin centrifuge with variable (linear) speed control and timer are designed to operate for many years of demanding laboratory work needed in clinical labs, physician's offices and chemical, industrial or biological labs where blood separation is a full time job. Compact, economical and quiet are three of the main characteristics of the UNICO PowerSpin™ Series centrifuges. Our models include both fixed speed (FX) and variable speed (LX) rotor models with fixed angle rotors, and they can be used to spin 8 or 15 ml tubes. With adapters, you can also spin tubes of different sizes, ranging between 2 ml and 7 ml. If you choose to purchase an optional Tube Holdster™, you will be able to have 18 tubes or adapters at your fingertips, conveniently mounted sideways on the centrifuge. The PowerSpins can be fitted with optional Tube Holdsters that are predrilled/tapped to accept them.
