INFORMATION ABOUT OtoAccess

Various accessories are included in this package, including pen probes, patient response switches, monitor headsets, printers, "paper ear tip kits", cleaning supplies for the probe tips, PC software, USB cables, and a power supply.

It has never been so exciting to do tympanometry for children. It is very easy to perform immittance testing when the attention of the child is focusing on an exciting, animated car race during the tympanometry or reflex screening procedure. As a result of the colorful animation that engages the child, the likelihood of the tip of the probe breaking the seal that connects it to the ear and requiring a retest is minimized. Taking advantage of this method will save you time and effort, as well as making the screening procedure more enjoyable for your little patient. When the test begins, the race for cars begins right away. Once the measurement has been completed, the patient is declared the winner and the car reaches the finish line.

What's the Difference Between the DD65 & DD45 Headset?

The DD65 is a circumaural headset that fits around the ears. (The DD45 is a supra-aural headset.) On the DD65 V2, there is less pinna pressure, and the headset offers increased attenuation for especially noisy environments. There is one cord that attaches to one side as opposed to a split cable that connects to each transducer/speaker.

Here is a video on our MAICO US YouTube channel that shows the DD45 vs the DD65 v2: https://youtu.be/lLXWU0v0Jt8

In one exceptional device, the touchTymp MI 26 combines fast screening tympanometry and audiometry test in one. The full 10.4" touchscreen with its user-friendly interface guarantees a uniquely intuitive operation and allows the user to quickly change parameters. You can easily switch between the tests without reorganizing from one to another device and benefit from its small footprint when facing limited desk space. touchTymp MI 26 really improves your workflow every day. The touchTymp MI 26 offers comprehensive standard protocols for immediate operation of all screening test processes: tympanometry with 226 Hz, tympanometry with automatic or fixed acoustic reflexes, and audiometry (air conduction and optional bone conduction). A high-frequency probe tone of 1 kHz is an excellent option for obtaining reliable results when testing newborns. By using the built-in printer, one can print test results and results reports very quickly. When you put the probe into the probe holder, an automatic printout of the test results will begin to appear.
