The Bovie Surgi-Center PRO is a 200-watt high-power operating room generator produced by Bovie. This system is a great investment, since it combines a full-featured OR generator with outstanding power and safety, and is as well much more cost-effective than the alternatives. The RF energy modes that are used in the system in order to achieve surgical precision are divided into 12 monopolar and bipolar energies.

FEATURES

• Bovie's Cut II is specially designed for Laparoscopic procedures since it is specifically tailored to be used for this type of procedure. In this mode, cutting energy is carefully controlled in a way that limits the amount of output, thus minimizing the potential risk of capacitive coupling and alternate site burns.
• Dual Monopolar Spray Activation - The Aaron Surgi-Center PRO comes with dual monopolar sprays that activate simultaneously and are accompanied by audible sounds. It is due to this simultaneous delivery of energy that the power output is equal and even for each accessory, which is safer for the delivery of dual monopolar energy.
• The ability to increase or decrease the power is presented with adjustable steps during activation, which allows procedural efficiency and provides the appropriate power to the surgical site based on the required power level for the procedure.
• A new technology known as "Surgical Memory Technology" allows the Bovie Surgi-Center PRO to remember the last power setting and mode that was used. As an added convenience, the surgeon can store up to ten RF presets that have been configured by the user, so that they can be easily recalled.
• The return electrode quality monitoring system is designed to minimize the risk of patient burns occurring at the return electrode site by detecting and recording the quality of the contact. There is a feature which works to provide a split return electrode that is disposable.
• As part of its precision energy delivery system, Bovie FDFSTM uses tissue sensing technology that measures tissue 5 million times a second and adjusts to varying impedances 5000 times a second.
• When the unit is turned on, the automatic system performs a self-check.
