	"Alfa Medical stays behind their product and their work." In 1993 my Pelton & Crane sterilizer OCM broke down. I was about to throw it away and buy a new one. At the American Dental Association (ADA) convention, I looked around at different sterilizer companies. When I stopped by Alfa's booth, I was very happily surprised to find out that my Pelton & Crane could be restored to look like new. In addition to looking like new, Alfa installed automatic shut off and automatic vent mechanism which saves us time and avoids having to worry whether the sterilizer needs to be shut off or not. Their service to me exceeded my expectations" In 1992 I purchased a remanufactured Pelton & Crane OCM sterilizer from Alfa Medical. I met them at the Yankee Dental Meeting in Boston. The sterilizer works great to this day (April 19th, 2002). Yesterday my Pelton & Crane Validator stopped working again. I was tired of spending more money on repairing it, so I called Alfa to purchase another OCM. Alfa explained to me that I would be better off trading my Validator for Alfa's re manufactured Validator. They said that it will work just like the Pelton & Crane OCM ... manually and I will not have anymore electronic problems. I took their word for it, and I had them send me a validator to trade mine for it. What I have learned dealing with Alfa was that they keep their word, and whatever they do is a quality work. 	"Loaners are always available from Alfa Medical" We started dealing with Alfa back in 1989. We own both the Pelton & Crane Sentry and the OCM. Alfa Medical had re-manufactured both of them for us. We have both sterilizers in a small sterilization area. Before we had Alfa re-manufacture our sterilizers, we could not hear the timer bell ring (this is because we have in all of our treatment rooms televisions for the patients comfort). The sterilizer would be running so many times longer then an hour. Many times causing malfunctioning of our sterilizers. The benefit of the Pelton and Crane OCM sterilizers shutting off and venting by themselves is tremendous, and saves a lot of money. Whenever we have had problems with the sterilizers, Alfa's service always responded right away. Alfa offered us loaners and gave us fast repair service. Alfa's repair technicians have always been great with help over the phone to diagnosis of our problems. Alfa has always given us advice on how to properly use and maintain our autoclaves. One of my main concerns with equipment suppliers was their ability and rediness to help when service issues come up (and they always seem to come up). Alfa Medical is big enough of a company to be able to help & support all of our sterilization needs, and small enough to be able to 'ON THE SPOT WHEN WE CALL' to poke their noses into our file to see what went wrong, and what is the right thing that is needed to be done to solve our issue. However, their representative who I met in 1999 assured me that distance does not matter if the sterilizer is good, and if the back up support from Alfa is there. 	"Alfa does what they promise" I met Alfa at the Western States meeting in Las Vegas in 1996. They explained to me what they can do for my sick Pelton & Crane OCR sterilizer. They suggested to complete rebuild with automatic shut off and venting mechanism. The price was phenomena, and I bought one. I was so happy with my decision that a year later when I opened another hospital, I bought another sterilizer from Alfa. Recently during the later part of the year 2001, I ordered a switch to be replaced in the sterilizer. My local repair guy who replaced the switch, said that this was the best conversion looking job he had ever seen. If you have a non working Pelton & Crane sterilizer, let them rebuild it for you. 	"I Am Impressed With Alfa's Exceptional Customer Service" In August 2001 I purchased the Pelton & Crane OCM from Alfa Medical. Their customer service was outstanding when I first started to inquire about the sterilizer. It was almost midnight when I sent my 1st eMail, and 10 minutes later, I got a response. I was impressed. Alfa was great in putting up with my numerous and often redundant questions. I appreciate the time they took to answer me, and provide the help I needed to make a decision. Even though this was a small sale for their company, they took the time to walk me through the process to ensure I didn't make a mistake. That is customer service. They were so helpful. When my Pelton and Crane OCM arrived (a day earlier than estimated), I was as happy as a clam. I just ran it through two cycles with no problems - no agar or liquid boilover. They again took the time to guide me through the process. I really appreciated their help very much. I love this Pelton & Crane OCM. It works perfectly. I am so glad I didn't take a chance with an autoclave from someone else. I might have gotten the OCM for less than what I paid Alfa for it, but what happens if it has a problem? The sterilizer has been perfect. No problems at all. I am very glad I bought it from Alfa. The only thing I regret is not having a larger chamber to accommodate larger flasks of media. However, when I mentioned this to Alfa, they right away offered me to take it back and ship me the larger sterilizer for its original price, without penalty for returning the OCM I have been using for four months. I really hope Alfa will sell lots of autoclaves in 2002. Their customer service is exceptional. When they asked me if they can put my testimony on their web site, I told them that they certainly may put me on their web site. Only once I had a problem with water leaking form the door, and Alfa right away sent me a door gasket. The sterilizer has been very reliable. The times we called Alfa to purhcase a distilled water, spore test, and the gasket, we were greated with respect, pleasent, and forthcoming respons. 	"Alfa always gave me prompt service" I bought my first Tuttnauer sterilizer back in 1990. I met the owner Shlomo Savyon at the New York Dental convention. He knew exactly what sterilizer to recommend for my practice, and he had the best price on the convention floor. Alfa's service is great. They know everything about sterilizers. They always steer me in the right direciton. They never try to sell me more then what I need. On May 21st, 2003, I called them because the switch on my autoclave was stuck. After spending few minutes on the phone with their technical department, they suggested to ship me the switch, and for me to replace it. Some companies would try to make more money out of this situation, by sending a service tech to my office, or request I ship the sterilizer to their location.
